I am a multidisciplinary artist working in painting and drawing, illustration, and sculpture. My work encapsulates the feelings of growing into adulthood and navigating relationships, feelings, and new experiences. I explore feelings through the depiction of figures, often by changing the figure physically or exploring feelings through color. Through figurative imagery altered by color, distortion, or surreal elements, I explore emotional states that are difficult to articulate directly. What may appear simple at first glance reveals layered interpretations upon closer viewing, inviting audiences to reflect on their own experiences of change, uncertainty, and belonging. 

An idea that drives my creative practice is noticing beauty in the mundane. In the hardest times in my life, I turned to art, the outdoors, and my memories.  By seeing details, I can choose colors and texture that replicate this feeling but add an element of questioning to my work. I aim to continue creating accessible, emotionally resonant work that encourages viewers to slow down, look closely, and recognize beauty both around them and within themselves.
